Black Cat Poetry Press is an independent UK-based poetry publisher focused on championing emerging voices. I was commissioned to design the first book in their Emerging Poets series.
For Viaducts & River Views, the author requested something eye-catching and unexpected. I developed a bold Art Deco–inspired design, drawing on the sweeping arcs of viaducts. This aesthetic carries through from the cover into the interior, featuring abstract, Art Deco–styled illustrations of bridges and rivers. Bold colours and gradients bring the artwork to life.
