Hummingbird Travel is a luxury travel specialist partnering with travel professionals to deliver bespoke journeys worldwide. This project involved designing a new book to introduce Hum Beyond, a newly launched collection within the Hummingbird brand. The design moved away from the client’s older destination brochures and towards a more premium, coffee-table style format.
I developed an earthy colour palette, assigning each destination its own tone while using a clay-based core colour to anchor the collection as a whole. Generous negative space, considered typographic treatments and detailed graphic devices such as section icons bring the layouts to life. Full-bleed spreads allow the beautiful destination photography to take centre stage, while gold accents and print finishes reference the wider Hummingbird brand and reinforce the book’s premium feel.
