The World Tennis Number is a new system developed by the International Tennis Federation that will connect tennis players worldwide. The system will determine a player’s ability level and can be applied to recreational and competitive matches globally. We were tasked with bringing the entire brand to life, including brand identity, web design, and video.
The logo was inspired by a combination of elements including fluid strokes, community, tennis racket strings, and the hashtag symbol. These are some pages from the WTN brand guidelines that I designed, addressing components such as key values, typography, colour, logo variants, image application and graphical language.
These are examples of ITF WTN printed collateral that I designed featuring dynamic shots of players on the court. By mimicking shapes within the logo I created playful graphic swoosh devices that add life to the creative, link type and imagery, as well as adding a sense of aesthetic unification that threads through the creative. Throughout the creative I made use of gradient overlays, adding dimension and pulling through the core WTN colour scheme.
These are some selected pages from the web design I worked on for ITF WTN, showcasing technical details like the player ranking and match system. The ITF WTN gradient and swoosh devices work together with text and imagery to create a functional yet engaging design.
